The hot faucet is hot enough to cook one’s tea or coffee or any other steaming hot beverage at approximately 180° F. Due to the extremely hot water, we’ve added a child safety lock on the hot water faucet. This water cooler is suitable for both 3 and 5 gallon bottles. The water dispensing area measures 9.5×2.5×10 inches with a height of 7 inches below the spouts to accommodate most large cups and bottles.
