Product Description

The Superior Pump 92072 pre-assembled Remote Sink Drain Pump System is ready to install. This kit works great for laundry tubs, washing machines, wet bars and dehumidifiers. Complete kit includes sump pump, check valve, basin and basin cover. Pump Features: The 1/3 HP submersible sump pump will move up to 48 gallons of water per minute. This pump is made of corrosion resistant thermoplastic and includes an adjustable tethered float switch with piggy back plug to automatically turn the pump on/off. The pump offers a powerful, yet energy efficient (4.1 Amp) thermally protected motor for longer life and durability. Featuring a thermoplastic impeller, 1-1/2 inch FIP discharge and 10 foot, replaceable, water proof power cord. Sump pump has side inlets for increased water flow, will handle 3/8 inch solids and is equipped with a suction screen on the bottom. Pump is UL/CUL listed and CSA certified. Basin Features: The 6 gallon basin is constructed from corrosion resistant structural foam and includes a high quality molded reusable PVC seal. Pre-plumbed with a 1-1/2 inch discharge pipe and check valve this kit is ready to install and is backed by a 1 year warranty.

Utility pumps are used to transfer water from one source to another or to drain water from surfaces. These pumps are typically used for draining water from sinks or tubs with clogged drains, emptying pools or spas, draining excess water on flooded basement floors, etc. Utility pumps are either portable or submersible. Portable means they are designed to operate outside the water with a hose placed in the water. Submersible means they are designed to be submersed in water. Submersible pumps can be provided with no on/off switch, which means they are manually operated or have a ‘smart’ switch that will detect the absence of water and will therefore shut off the pump automatically.
